Bilbo Barkins is a brave little explorer with wide, glossy eyes that constantly search out new adventures. His striking dark coat looks perfectly sharp, accented by a bright chest and matching dipped toes. This curious pup loves to test out his speed, trying out uncoordinated, sideways hops whenever he gets excited about a new discovery. Story
With oversized, alert ears that look ready to catch any sound, this little pup is an absolute showstopper. Those bright, dark eyes sparkle with a mix of sweet charm and a hint of playful mischief. She is currently mastering the art of the sudden sprint, turning ordinary space into her personal racetrack before tumbling into a happy, uncoordinated heap. After exhausting her bursts of energy, she loves nothing more than melting into a deep, heavy nap right in the middle of the room.Don't wait—make your move today to bring Marissa home.

This adorable pup is undergoing Parvo treatment through APA! and is expected to make a full recovery. They are not quite out of the woods yet and will need a few more days to complete treatment before leaving the Parvo ward; but that doesn’t mean they can’t start getting the word out that they need an adopter lined up for when they are ready to leave! If you are interested in learning more about me you can email tarrytown.dog@austinpetsalive.org. Please be aware that they absolutely cannot go home until they test negative, but we will be taking 1-2 people’s information to be lined up for their adoption.

Story
Meet Koda — a 1-year-old terrier mix with springs for legs and curiosity for days. This 25-lb bouncy boy is basically a one-dog highlight reel: he zooms, he bounds, he investigates every corner of a room like there's a mystery to solve. We wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a natural on an agility course — give him a tunnel or an A-frame and watch him go. Koda gets along great with his fellow dogs — big or small, he's a polite and playful housemate. Cats are still a question mark, as he hasn't had the chance to meet one yet. He'd do best with another dog of similar size or energy at home to be his built-in playmate and partner in mischief. He's already showing off some serious smarts: he knows his name, his recall is coming along great, leash walks are going smoothly, and he's crate trained and mostly potty trained. Toss him a rubber chew toy or a treat and you've made a friend for life — this guy is food motivated and loves a good game. Underneath all that bounce is a genuinely affectionate pup who loves people. Koda would thrive in an active household ready to keep up with him — think hikes, fetch sessions, and plenty of playtime. He'd do best with older teenagers and adults, as his enthusiasm might be a bit much for very young kids. If you're looking for an energetic sidekick who's eager to learn and even more eager to love you, Koda might just be your guy. Reach out to meet him now!
