Story
Hi, I’m Lilly! I`m Lilly, a 5-year-old Scottish Fold, and apparently I am what people around here refer to as:A FANCY CAT.Personally, I just think I`m a cat.A particularly gorgeous cat?Sure.A cat with adorable little folded ears?Obviously.A cat who deserves to be admired whenever she enters a room?I MEAN...IF YOU INSIST. ??But underneath all the fancy packaging, I`m really just a sweet, friendly girl who would very much like to find a home.I`m five years old, which means I`ve moved beyond some of the completely unhinged baby-kitten nonsense.I`m a grown woman.I have dignity.I have sophistication.I have—IS THAT A CHURU?!Okay. We`ll discuss sophistication later.I`m ready for a family who wants a lovely adult cat to share their life with. Give me affection, comfortable places to lounge, good care, and the security of knowing that I`m finally home. There is one important responsibility that comes with my fancy little ears: Scottish Folds can be prone to breed-related health issues, particularly involving their cartilage and joints. I need someone who has researched the breed and understands that I may require additional veterinary care throughout my life.I`m not just a pretty face.I`m a whole little living creature who deserves a family prepared to care for all of me.But also...I AM A VERY PRETTY FACE.Just saying.Lilly is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $650.00. Lilly will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of her adoption. If you`d like to meet her please visit, we`re conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus. Lilly can`t wait to meet you! We`re open daily for adoptions from 11am to 5:30pm.Sean Casey Animal Rescue153 E. 3 St. between Ft Hamilton Pkwy & Caton AveBrooklyn, NY 11218adoptions @nyanimalrescue.orgNYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Registration No. RR160

Hi, I’m Rum Tum Tugger! I`m Rum Tum Tugger, a 2-year-old Scottish Fold, and yes...THAT IS MY REAL NAME.Please respect the drama. With a name like Rum Tum Tugger, I couldn`t exactly show up looking like some ordinary cat.Thankfully...I DO NOT.I`m gorgeous.I`ve got the fancy Scottish Fold looks.I`ve got the adorable little ears. And most importantly, I`ve got the personality to back it all up!I`m a friendly, sweet girl who`s ready to get out of the shelter and into a home where I can begin my new career as:EXTREMELY SPOILED HOUSE CAT.I feel uniquely qualified. My requirements are pretty straightforward.A comfortable place to sleep.People to love me.Excellent snacks.Appropriate amounts of admiration.Actually...Let`s make that excessive amounts of admiration. Before you get completely distracted by my fancy appearance, though, I do come with some important fine print. Scottish Folds can be prone to breed-related medical problems, particularly involving their joints and cartilage, so please research my breed and make sure you`re prepared for whatever veterinary care I may need throughout my life.Don`t adopt me just because I`m beautiful.Adopt me because you`re prepared to love and care for me properly. The fact that I happen to be ridiculously beautiful is simply a delightful bonus.I`m Rum Tum Tugger. My name is fabulous. My face is fabulous. And I am officially ready to go home.Honestly, I`m not sure what we`re waiting for.Rum Tum Tugger is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $650.00. Story
Hi, I’m Brennan! I`m Brennan, a 3-year-old Scottish Fold, and I`m currently accepting applications for my forever family.Qualifications are fairly straightforward:Must love cats.Must appreciate an exceptionally handsome gentleman.Must understand the potential medical needs of Scottish Folds.And...MUST PROVIDE ONE TOY.That`s right.I have dreams too. Some cats dream of enormous houses. Some dream of unlimited Churus. Some probably dream of world domination.Me?I want a toy.MY toy.Something I can smack across the floor.Something I can chase.Something I can mysteriously lose underneath the couch approximately fourteen minutes after receiving it.I don`t think I`m asking for much. ??I`m an extremely easygoing guy who could thrive in all kinds of homes. I`m ready to settle in, make myself comfortable, and start enjoying everything the spoiled-house-cat lifestyle has to offer. And obviously...I`m gorgeous.THIS HAS BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED.But please don`t adopt me just because I`m a fancy-looking Scottish Fold. My breed can be prone to medical issues, particularly involving our joints and cartilage, so I need someone who has researched Scottish Folds and is prepared for the possibility of additional veterinary care throughout my life.I`m looking for someone who wants the whole Brennan package. The looks. The sweetness. The easygoing personality. The fancy little ears. And whatever responsibilities come along with keeping me happy and healthy. In exchange, I promise to appreciate my new toy tremendously.Until I lose it under the refrigerator.Brennan is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV and is up to date with vaccines. His adoption fee is $650. Brennan will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption. Hi, I’m Jack! I`m Jack, a 3-year-old Scottish Fold, and yes...I KNOW I`M BEAUTIFUL.People keep walking past me making all sorts of noises:`OH MY GOD, LOOK AT HIM!``THOSE EARS!``HE`S SO CUTE!`Thank you.Thank you.PLEASE FORM AN ORDERLY LINE. ??I`m an incredibly easygoing guy who could thrive in all sorts of homes. I`m not coming into this adoption process with an enormous list of demands.Actually, I only have one major dream.I`ve thought about it extensively.I`ve pictured it.I`ve manifested it.And someday...I WANT MY VERY OWN BED.A bed that nobody else is already sleeping in.A bed where I can stretch out.A bed where I can roll over without encountering another cat`s butt.A bed where someone looks at me and says:`Jack, that`s YOUR bed.`I MAY CRY.Okay, probably not.But I will sleep in it dramatically.I`m sweet, handsome, adaptable, and ready to slide right into somebody`s life like I`ve always belonged there. Before you become completely hypnotized by my fancy folded ears, though, please research Scottish Folds. My breed can be prone to certain medical problems, particularly involving our cartilage and joints, so I need a family prepared for whatever veterinary care I may require throughout my life. That`s really it.Love me.Take care of me.Provide appropriate veterinary care. And please...GET ME THE BED.Jack is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV and is up to date with vaccines. Story
Hi, I’m Blackbeak! I`m Blackbeak, a 2-month-old kitten, and my first experience with housing left something to be desired.I was abandoned outside with my mama and two other tiny kittens...all stuffed together into one little crate.Four cats. One tiny crate.Outside.ZERO STARS ON ZILLOW.Thankfully, a wonderful person found us and brought us to the shelter, where we`ve been checked out, cared for, and officially cleared for adoption! And now I am ready for a MAJOR housing upgrade.I`m a sweet, adorable little kitten without a bunch of complicated demands about what my future family needs to look like.Kids?Sure!Other cats?Sure!A properly introduced dog?Why not!I`m still just a baby, and I`m ready to grow up experiencing all the wonderful things that come with being somebody`s beloved house cat.Toys.Beds.Windows.Snacks.People.Things I`m technically not supposed to climb but will investigate anyway.THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.My life started out cramped into a tiny crate.I`d like the rest of it to be considerably bigger.Preferably about the size of your home.Blackbeak is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Blackbeak will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption. If you`d like to meet her please visit, we`re conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus.Blackbeak can`t wait to meet you! Story
Hi, I’m Elide! I`m Elide, a 1-year-old cat, and I recently found myself in a pretty terrible situation.I was abandoned outside with my three tiny kittens...all four of us crammed into a crate so small we could barely fit.Thankfully, a Good Samaritan spotted us and knew we needed help. We were brought safely to the shelter, vetted, and now we`re officially ready for adoption!I have been a very devoted mama.Perhaps...TOO devoted.I take protecting my babies seriously, and sometimes I can be a little overprotective of them. They`re MY babies.I made them.PLEASE SUBMIT ALL REQUESTS TO MANAGEMENT.Now that they`re old enough to be adopted, though, I`m ready to retire from full-time motherhood and start thinking about what I want in my forever home. And I`ve given it considerable thought.Other cats? No.Dogs?ABSOLUTELY NOT.Young, wild children bouncing around everywhere? That sounds terrible.DECLINED.Apparently raising three kittens has left me with a very low tolerance for additional nonsense. ??There is one exception to my anti-cat policy: my own children. I could happily be adopted with one of my kittens if someone wanted to keep us together.Otherwise?I would LOVE to be your one and only cat.No feline roommates. No canine roommates.Just me, my humans, and the peaceful knowledge that nobody else is going to wander over and stick their face in my business.I`m only one year old myself. I became a mom while I was still incredibly young, kept my babies safe through a pretty awful situation, and successfully got all four of us to the other side. Now my babies don`t need me anymore. For the first time, I get to worry about Elide.I`d like a calmer home.I`d like people who understand me.And after everything I`ve been through...I`d really like a crate to NEVER be part of my housing situation again.Elide is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $350.00. Elide will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption. If you`d like to meet her please visit, we`re conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus.Elide can`t wait to mee
